Walk In His Way

This article marks the first public announcement of a book now being written — a work shaped to help believers hear God’s voice again in a world filled with noise, distraction, and uncertainty. The Way of God is being created as a companion for anyone seeking clarity, direction, and hope, and as an invitation to return to the path God has been calling His people to walk since the beginning.
Section One
The question at the center of everything I have written is simple, and it matters more now than ever: Is God still speaking? And if He is — are we listening?
Across every devotional, every reflection, every chapter, the answer has been the same: yes, He is speaking. He has never stopped.
From the first word spoken into darkness in Genesis to the final invitation in Revelation — “Come” — the voice of God moves through Scripture like a steady river. What changes is not His voice, but the direction of the human heart. We either turn toward Him or away from Him.
My writing has been an attempt to name that voice clearly enough that others might pause, become still, and hear it again. Scripture is not a library of disconnected books. It is one story, one voice, one continuous call stretching across human history. The God who spoke to Adam in the garden is the same God who spoke to Abraham under the stars, who spoke through the prophets, who walked among us in Jesus of Nazareth, and who speaks today. The thread has never broken. The invitation has never been withdrawn. When we read Scripture with this understanding — not as ancient literature but as a living call — we discover that God is still asking us to return to Him.
To help readers find their place in this call, I have organized my work around three movements that appear again and again in Scripture:
Return — come back to God. We are born reaching for Him, and then the world teaches us to reach for lesser things. Return is the moment the soul remembers where home is.
Listen — hear His voice above all others. Listening is not attending a service or reading a passage. It is learning to recognize the voice of God in a world full of competing noise.
Walk — obey, trust, and follow God in His Way. Walking is the movement of a life shaped by His presence, not by the patterns of the age.
These three movements are not steps to master. They are the shape of a life lived with God. Every chapter I have written circles these movements from a different angle, in a different season of the biblical story, with a different set of human hearts in view.
They are the pattern God has been teaching from the beginning — in Deuteronomy, in the Psalms, in the Gospels, in the letters of Paul, and in the call of every prophet who ever spoke words he did not write. My work is simply pointing to what God has already made clear: here is the pattern, here is the voice, here is the Way.
