Why This Ministry Exists

A ministry born from listening— shaped in silence, confirmed in faith, and sent to speak to the heart.

There are many today who still love God deeply but no longer feel at home in the places they once worshiped. Some have stepped away quietly, not from faith, but from the noise that has grown around it. Others feel disoriented by doctrines, divisions, or cultural pressures that have reshaped the Church in ways Scripture never intended.

If that is you, you are not alone.

The Soul's Voice exists for those who still hunger for God’s Word, who still long to walk with Him, and who want a community rooted in listening, returning, and following — not in agendas, arguments, or shifting doctrine.

A Journey of Discernment, Silence, and Formation

The Soul’s Voice wasn’t a project I set out to build. It began when God interrupted my life and led me through fourteen years of quiet discernment, deep silence, and slow, steady formation.

In that long season of wilderness, God shaped a way of listening and receiving that quietly transformed me. He was teaching me how to recognize His voice again — gently and patiently — and preparing me for the calling He had been forming all along: to write the words He places on my heart and share them with those who need encouragement, hope, and a place to belong.

In April of 2026, my wilderness ended, and I began to write what came through me — clear, simple, and unmistakably from Him. I invite you to walk with me as I continue in His Way.

The Bishop of the Episcopal Church affirmed the calling and encouraged Bruce to continue this ministry through writing.

If This Story Speaks to You, Your Next Step Begins Here

As you read this story — the wilderness, the calling, the quiet way God rebuilt my listening — my hope is that you feel something familiar in your own spirit. Many of us have walked through seasons where faith felt steady but community felt distant. If you are in that place now, The Soul’s Voice was created with you in mind. It is a gentle space to reconnect, to breathe, to listen, and to walk with others who are seeking God’s voice in their own lives. If you feel drawn to explore what this community offers, here is where your next step begins.

The Soul’s Voice exists to offer clarity, comfort, and direction through simple, Scripture‑rooted devotionals. Everything here is shared freely because God’s voice is meant to be given, not gated.
