Finding Your Way Back
These last few days have been filled with a wondering mind and unsettled spirit. The distractions of security issues to managing all that is involved with this ministry have left me a drift. Finding my way back to walking in His Way and listening for His direction is a part of daily life and is this world has become even more important. In order for our souls to stand strong and be diligent against these distractions we must learn and implement what God has been telling us in His Book.
Prayer is the cornerstone of everything. In Scripture we find words that speak into every situation, every need, and every desire. When the soul begins to drift under the constant beat of negative or harmful influences, we turn to the Word to steady our steps. These passages become the prayers we lean on — reminders that our walk with God in His Way is not fragile, but aligned with His written word.
“Let your eyes look straight ahead… Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.”
When life grows loud and the mind begins to wander, the return to God is never complicated. It is quiet, simple, and always welcomed. He does not ask us to be perfect; He asks us to be present. Each time we turn our eyes back to Him, each time we steady our steps with His written word, the drift loses its power. The Way becomes clear again. And in that clarity, our spirit finds rest. Today, let your heart look straight ahead. Let your feet remain on the path He has set before you. He is near, and He is faithful to guide you home.
